Saw my GP yesterday - was amazed to get an appointment so quickly.
Tests indicate miniscus damage, but will need to get an x-ray to see if it's arthritis or bone floating in the knee. After that comes an MRI, and then arthroscopy unless it spontaneously heals.
Judging from the pain I don't see this spontaneously resolving itself.
