Hiya,
Would you consider £206.96? -

I think 400 is pretty good but I'm open to offers.

Well given that it was sold on eBay about 5 weeks ago I'm assuming that you were the buyer. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
If you want to recover your outlay then my offer would achieve that goal. If you are planning to double your money then that's a different matter. The bike has not been improved in any way so why the mark-up unless this is a business venture. -

Seems pretty clear to me. Richard is quite a prolific bike seller, although not so much in recent times.

Good work Sherlocks. I used to run Heavens cycles, the stall on Broadway Market where we sold hundreds of bikes before selling the business, and still buy and sell a few bikes. These most recent two were bought for myself and now I've fallen on hard times so they've got to go. I don;t think it's such a bad thing to make a few quid if the bikes are desirable and fairly priced. Those dealers in Benelux buy them for pence and flip them on. Do make me an offer if you're interested, thank you!

Yes it show that your quite a pro with the opening flannel about lack of space for my lovely bike and sad to see it go. Then there are the bumps with a new photo every time it drops from the top. Sorry to hear you've fallen on hard times. Although given that, most folk would be happy to recover their outlay.
I think that the value is clear. It failed to sell on open auction for 190 then sold at the second time of asking for 206 (to somebody who didn't actually want it for anything trading) We know silly things happen on eBay. More often than not with prices on the high side.
Look I am genuinely interested- that's why I am disgruntled at your opening price and buying to sell rather than own. All that does is makes bike ownership more expensive in this country.
If at some point you accept that the true value was roughly found through at least two stints on eBay then please give me a shout and we can negotiate something closer to the true market value.
Thanks

I was the losing bidder on this bike, which I was going to use for my daily commute rather than try to make a quick profit. :-(

Personally I see nothing wrong, just because he brought it super cheap there is nothing wrong with wanting to make a bit on it, coupled with this forum being full of mugs I say fair play to him

If I haven't just built up a ritchey I would jump at this as it looks like a really good winter machine

It's my first attempt :)
Much as it pains me it seems there's only room for one bike in my life just now. It's really such a good bike and in great condition. I'll put the original catalogue in with the images which says a bit more about frame and fork- it's the large frame model so about 56cm square. Pictures should give you the spec, any questions please ask, but a few details:
It's a Nivacrom frame, ITM carbon fork and Specialized carbon seat post.
Newish Campag Centaur hollowtech, 10-speed Veloce otherwise. Shimano brakes.
Campaign Vento off the peg wheels.
Cane Creek headset, Specialised seat, mudguards etc.
£400 in Finsbury Park.
