True, you could get your BB changed for that, but the actual difference is £12 (£19.99 vs. £31.99 from the major UK mail order outlets). This is the #tester_approved thread, and I approve of paying £12 extra for a superior axle/bearing system and nicer looks.

Yes, and given the tiny price premium you might as well get 540. Also, they just look more expensive, out of all proportion to the actual price difference. It's a little bit of bling which makes it look like you chose your pedals rather than getting them thrown in with the bike.
