I'd never realised the proportion of pedestrian deaths caused by lorries was so high. In a sense it gives the lie to the Road Haulage Association's constant inference that cyclist behaviour is the main cause of lorry-on-cyclist fatalities. Unless pedestrians are routinely filtering up cycle lanes to pass lorries at junctions.
