Shimano SL-T610 & SL-M610 shifters.
What is the difference? They look identical. What does the M or T stand for?
M-System?
T is for Trekking (touring/leisure bike) and M for MTB.

What is the difference?
Check the compatibility map, Shimano trekking groups tend to use big chainrings compared with MTB groups, so the shift levers might be designed to work with a road FD.
