someone please buy this and document the build on here...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cannondale-CAAD5-frameset-Stars-nStripes-/272391352772?
It's a 56 and thankfully too big for me, because I would seriously be struggling to justify it

I need a short OS stem, how long you think this is?
-
• #55654
Don't know but looks to me about 70mm or something like that?

Just bought this as an upgrade for my sprog, might have to restrain myself from giving it to him and save it for Christmas...

Thought it looked pretty cool!

I saw a young kid on a road bike the other day, alongside his bro/friend and dad with mtb/bmx options. The kid looked like a boss.
Young sized roadies look so cool

So nice and Lee knows his building!
My wee man got a hoy meadowlark until he's used to gears.
-
• #55659
I tried to encourage mine to go singlespeed, but he was convinced he needed more gears than his mate / rival (his current bike has a measly 3)
Picked up the lc today and rode it about 8 miles, other than a creaky drivetrain was lovely to ride and was great down the hills. Huge difference to when I rode the last bike I got him home!

Not sure if this is ok to post in this thread, but a dude on an Italian Facebook group is selling this lovely F.Moser Leader SC for 280 euro.
Let me know if you guys are interested, I think he can ship it included in the price.

Moser looks sweet. What size is it?
-
• #55662
it is a 55cm square.
BTW fork it is not the original fork, but it seems a better one, i.e. it has a reinforcement that the original fork didn't have.
You can see the differences here. The original is on mine in the last picture.Indeed, to be honest, no one's sure about that... these frames were open to customisation (for example this has the external cabling routing, whilst mine has internal and some even have a different seatpost cluster, i.e., one without the need of the peculiar quill seatpost)

I was looking for something to further fill up my news feed. Thanks.
-
• #55668
@anidel thanks for the extensive list! I thought there might have a hub of Moser knowledge that I was missing out on.
@Dropped.Bars I know a few people who have 'completed' Facebook. Basically preventing any friends/groups/pages from appearing on the timeline whilst still being able to use chat. I can see the appeal.
-
• #55669
I don't have the stamina for that kind of herculean task. As a result I still get facebook updates from friends of acquaintances I met twice over a decade ago....
-
• #55670
The first two groups are often visited by a guy named Leonardo Gibo Senter who is quite an expert of Moser frames.
-
• #55671
Ah good to know thanks, will check them out ;)

Is that really a ritchey? Looks awesome but aero shifter mounts + mudguard eyelets don't seem to go together..
Badly listed Thomson chode stem
