The axle has been cut up to the small hole that exists on circa 2004 Hollowtech II axles, allowing placement of a plastic shim that acts as a torque indicator. Unfortunately, this plastic shim was not supplied with the crank when I received them.
As per description, no issues have been encountered, through use of the aftermarket aluminium (10mm hex key) preload bolt .
