  • Cheers, thought there may have been a more elegant solution, but they will do!

  • Can anyone tell me what this is, or might be? The paint's been stripped off. It has Campag headset and no identifying marks aside from the dropouts and a thin plate underneath the bottom bracket, stamped with digits I can't make out. Going by the holes, it would have had a large, two-pin head badge. Your thoughts....?

  • At a guess, Maybe a Peugeot, or some other French frame. Has Simplex dropouts.

Do you know what the bb threads are?

  • Any idea what this is? The only picture I have of it sorry

  • Any idea what this is?

The reason the make and model are unknown is because there are literally dozens of identical cheap fixies like this. Probably doesn't even have a name.

  • Figured as much cheers anyway

  • Has anyone ever seen a HT badge like that and knows which brand it could be?
The Frame Looks a lot like my mistery lo pro, help would be appreciated!

  • Slightly strange case here, I've had this vintage road bike for a few years now, assuming the stickers on the frame were correct and that it was a Gazelle, however now that I want to sell it, I can't find the serial number in the usual place under the BB. Can anyone help me work out where the frame is actually from? Thanks!

Here's an imgur album with some pics

  • Looks French, maybe Gitane?

  • I think it might be a Peugeot UO 8, based on some of the detailing on the front of the head tube. Strange that someone would put some random Gazelle stickers on to it.

  • I bought this frame around 2 years ago from a chap on the forum. I never asked whether he knew what is was at the time (I am retarded), and sadly he doesn't seem to be active anymore. It's a long shot but can anyone point me in the right direction... it has lovely lugs.

  • does anyone recognize this head badge?

  • Hi everyone, I need help trying to find what this Tommasini frame is worth. All I know is that it was manufactured in the 90s, with an almost identical design to the TecnoExtra frame and it has Columbus tubing "NIVA CROM, Extra Leggeri, Doppio Spessore". Also, where in the Columbus lineup was this specific tube set? Many thanks in advance.

  • Is it not a Technotig, as it says on the top tube?

  • Yep, it is a TecnoTig. Just wondering how much the frame is worth and where was this tubing ranked amongst other Columbus tubes

  • Bought this week ago on ebay but seller doesn't know who has made it.
Can anyone help to identify the manufacturer?

  • Lovely ! No idea of maker, but it's the sort of thing you see at the "handmade bicycle" shows. I'd look at pics from some of those till you find someone using that destinctive G.

What am I saying ?? It's horrid, unsafe, and probably made by some apprentice. But I'll give you £5 for scrap value ;-)

Seriously, in the first pic, I'd say that the Fleur de Lis (sp is right, I checked it) don't appear to line up perfectly !? I'd ensure it's straight before painting.

I'd love to know how this turns out.....

  • It's an A-head stem given the faux-retro treatment.

As such it straddles two worlds. And belongs to neither of them.

Do everyone a favour and smash it to pieces, before jabbing it into the eyes of whoever made it.

Then set fire to their ha-ha beard and generic skin scratchings.

  • Can anyone help identify this track frame please?

  • Im not sure of the frame but the fork crown looks like a "Davis Cast" crown.
They were used by a lot of frame builders in the 50s and 60s.
    .
    Good luck.

  • Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

  • Help to identify that Pinarello
Hi, I'm new here on the forum. Just moved from Switzerland to the UK, and left my bikes at home ftm.
I'd like some help to identify that Pinarello frame ? I unfortunately do not have lot of pictures.
I was looking to sell it back home and use the money to buy an other one here. But know I am thinking about bringing it here and would like to know what would be the cheapest way ? Postage or with my next easy jet flight?
    Thanks!
