• Poetic: It is sad I lost the bike they are merely possessions and I am glad I had it for 30 years. I only regret that I did not take more photos of it more recently with a digital camera and higher quality "Considering my job is a photographer" so I could have a record of the bike in more detail. Oh well it was not meant to be. I want to thank you all for allowing me to go down memory lane. Also for letting me see so many great photos of the different versions of my bike that I have never seen before ever. You have to realize when I got the bike I never seen what other Rauler bikes looked like as you didnt see them here in the USA at all. The came from Italy. I only seen a black and white catalog. So I never seen the other colors and versions of the frame. It was great to see the different models and features. Mine had no rear brake cables guides on the top tube nor did it have mounts for the shift levers on the down tube. My frame did have the cut outs on the bottom bracket and it did have the chrome crowns on the top of the forks. I am wondering if my frame was a early model? or maybe a cheaper model? Not sure as mine was not as fancy as some of the ones I have seen in the photos here. If anyone knows about that let me know. Thank you Poetic for the kind words. I am just happy there are others who enjoy the history of these bikes and are saving them. Cheers to you all.
