Two lots of scrubbing and one dose of Sole Bright so far... The midsoles spent the whole day out in the sun wrapped in cling film... I'll give them another go with Sole Bright tomorrow then another scrub before getting some acetone on the paint to remove the varnish... Then I can start painting... Pretty tedious business... 2016 OG low Royal for comparison...

These midsoles were FILTHY!! Very surprised they've come up this good tbh...

These were still in really good nick til I started riding in clips and straps on my sweet fixeh... Then I started playing bike polo in them... They've lasted pretty well considering... They feel like slippers...

dont go any further keep all them nicks and creases

I'm painting over the scuffs, they'll look rad... No way I'll be able to get rid of those creases anyway... Right hand shoe is already painted and I think it came out great... It was actually way more scuffed than the left one, almost invisible, eh?

actually that is v good new lease of life for them :) how do you apply the paint ? regular brush or dab dab thing like a mop marker

In other disintegrating footwear news, several '99-'02 era Nike Dunks I own have started shedding the coloured coating applied to the swooshes to reveal the white base material. FFS.

What current Nikes are good for holding your foot down hard so you don't roll your ankle while xtremebadass training, but that don't make you look like a gym belm?
