It was rocket back to be fair but I did consider bailing at the first sliproad, odd really but all sorts of discussion on TT forum about wind etc.
Long day out but I'll be back (on fixed - was using the geared training bike yesterday), would be a good one on a more even day on fixed I think, mainly because the turnaround is way faster than V718.

I started 17 minutes before you, and not once did I suffer from a big gust of wind. For me it seemed very constant. Can only guess I got lucky!
