BB centre to top of saddle will go down to about 68cm

Awesome. But needs mudguards and panniers. And what's with the reinforcement between stem and front dropouts?

Just picked up this masterpiece today, needs a little adjusting and tweaking to get it running nice, thinking of putting drop bars back on and some bar end shifters possibly, guessing it would have had drops from new. Has anyone any idea how old it is ?

'92 I think. Early 90s, definitely.

Ok that's great, was thinking late 80's so I was a little out. Fitted some new wheels that I built for my old Tandem, and marathon plus tyres. Rides great,

Having consulted with the lady, we are provisionally in for Tandem Showdown on 17th December, pending confirmation of the day off work for her. Hell yeah.

Bring it! We're finishing building ours on the weekend (hopefully). It'll be interesting to see how much quicker it is than me solo - total power will be well over 600w but obviously with a CdA much higher.

Ha, I ask the exact opposite question, just how much slower will we be.

We did 25:56 on the slower HCC123A this summer... but that was in the summer.

If all goes to plan I'll be so out of shape by the time this rolls around and previous time of ours will be meaningless.
