I'm interested in how you correct the files though - do you just free-transform in Photoshop until it looks about right?
For those wondering wtf we're taking about, anamorphic lenses squash the image horizontally so they could get widescreen aspect ratios on 35mm film. The projector lenses would have the reverse effect to unsquash the image...
These days they're used mostly stylistically by Tarantino and Nolan.

yup, transform it, although you have to be quite precise about it. i made a photoshop action to do it automatically since there are a few steps which are always the same.
ill do a tutorial as theres not much online about anamorphic photography (at least there wasnt when i was trying to figure it out a few years ago).
you can see the process then and the set up i use and some tips on where to get the lenses at a reasonable price etc
