What's everyones opinion on the white borders on photos trend?

How would I best go about this in Lightroom?

It's quick in photoshop: create an adjustment layer, select color balance and go.

You could bring the blue channel midrange down in Lightroom for the same outcome I think.

I've just shot half a roll of Ektar rated at 100 then the other half at iso 80 with a warming filter... I'll let you know if I learn anything.

More importantly, wtf is with SOME photographers on insta treating their profile views like fashion magazine layouts (so posting blank pics and off-to-the-side-pics)? No one looks at profile views, this aint Art school you daft cunce.

I shoot regular garden 3:2 and put my grams into a square for instagram.

I really don't like it when people split up images over multiply posts to create one big picture on their profile. Really clogs up your feed.

Sweet, thinking of doing the same as I have a bathroom which I can get pitch black. Was it cheap to get all the bits to get started? Haven't much looked into it yet

I was actually given 90% of the kit, just had to buy chemicals. Great fun. Can't wait to scan some! Rinsing the 2nd batch now.

No need for a dark room for dev, use a film changing bag. Only need a darkroom if you want to wet print.

There might be a few but there are also gasmask wearing deviants. Best of both worlds and may they never intersect.

Was actually wondering what kind of people are buying those WW2 gas masks!

Venice Beach, LA, being bathed in the most stunning dusk light i've had the pleasure of shooting in. (Mamiya 7, 80mm, Portra 160)

Wow! Amazing light and location.

First home dev and home scanned image.

MJU II on HP5+ pushed to 1600, developed in Ilford DDX 1+4 and scanned using slide holder on top of enlarger light and OM-D E-M1, Oly 45mm lens and 10mm macro tube (about 85% image area so a decent if not amazing RAW file to work with.) Not much post, slight contrast tweak and 10% clarity.

Each image was scanned for balanced average reading according to the camera's meter.
