Schwalbe seems to get tubeless thing right! Bought X One for cx season, had no rim strip, sealant etc but decided to do some experimenting anyway since I was ill and had nothing to do.
Applied one layer of electrical tape on top of usual rim strip, cut out valves from puncruted inner tubes and pumped hard with track pump. Tire inflated.
Left overnigh - seem to hold air reasonably fine even without sealant. Tested in tub and water for leaks, there seemed to be some at valve. Tightened that up, will report back tomorrow.
