I generally don't eat after 7pm and I wake up around 6am and get on trainer around 6.15, so I figured my body would be pretty much out of fuel at that point. Does my body really still have fuel in it at that point? It doesn't feel like it does.
You're missing the point of sweetspot work though. It's meant to be making you faster, not improving fat oxidisation. You're mixing two quite different aims.
