Are there any recommendations for reasonably priced jewelers screwdriver sets and springbar tools? I just want something for bracelet resizing and changing straps... I've seen loads of options for pittance on amazon and ebay, are they the best bet or will they break instantly or need lots of filing to fit?

Just been reunited with an old friend. Probably the only watch I wish I had not sold.

Does anyone know who would stock (in London) the Seiko Sea Urchin? Plenty of on-line sellers but it appears no bricks and mortar options.

Found on a junk stall at a flea market. It must be round watch day...... Just got one I thought had got away. Picture to follow.

I just don't have the patience for flea markets. My mind wanders off within a few minutes of starting to dig.
We've just moved back to Greenwich. No doubt see you in Deptford before long.

Tell them it's a horology tool or anything that isn't a watch. They don't cover jewellery.

For screwdrivers, best to get a French set if you can't afford Swiss. Look for Beco (German re-branded) and A*F Swiss (Swiss re-branded). They look the same.

Finally arrived yesterday. Absolutely love it and even the chapter ring alignment is close enough to not bother me.

Does anyone with better Google skills than me know where I can get a Seiko SRP rubber strap from?

Yorkshire watches used to sell them. They might still have some.

I just found out that somebody who is investing in one of my projects has also invested in this guy
He makes watches to order, entirely by hand including the movements. Based in the Czech Republic.
Not to my taste but incredible skills.

You found an IWC on the market?!
Looks great. Are you keeping or flipping?
That is a beauty! Where did you find it?
