On the subject of Papa Del's - I suspect not much has changed since we got barred - this is response to a non favourable trip advisor review:
Papa D, Manager at Papa Del's, responded to this review, 26 April 2016
Dear customer,
We are very sorry to hear you were not happy with your experience in the restaurant. Sometimes during a busy shift a dirty fork can slip through the net. We accept this shouldn't happen and you will be pleased to know we have recently brought in a new dishwasher to help solve this issue.
On this particular occasion, our manager was extremely patient with you when dealing with your complaint. She actively replaced your cutlery on several occasions, each time make sure they were spotless. At which point you aggressively approached another member of staff and threatened to shout across the restaurant about the dirty for you had received.
Due to the confrontational nature of your approach, our staff offered you the opportunity to leave without paying for your meal of drinks. You took this option but proceeded to not only shout to the entire restaurant you also used foul unacceptable language that wouldn't be tolerated anywhere. This was in the middle of the afternoon after a children's show at Jackson's lane so our restaurant was full of young children forced to hear your foul mouthed tirade & while your pregnant wife stood by. A member of a staff then had to escort you out of the building to avoid further distress to the children or parents in the restaurant. You further verbally abused & threatened that staff member outside before leaving.
A few moments later you called the restaurant to offer some more abuse before hanging up.
We have now been informed you also called the council and threatened to approach the press if they did not take formal action against us for the dirty fork.
Ha ha.
