In the sense that all the stuff that was new and shiny will now be cheaper... I think the LX100 is still the best bet for compact + video at that price but @CYOA is probably the man to ask...

I had a melt down and never bought a new compact for filming. With all this new tech is there a new recommendation in the sub £500 bracket?
