It's so totally 100% shopped... Hilarious...

Wow what a shower of assholes. I guess after 15 (20?) years of Boris and Ken everyone's forgotten that the Mayor of London needs some skills as a diplomat

So the police in the US managed to capture the terror suspect they think planted at least two bombs in crowded areas. They caught him alive, despite the fact that he was shooting at them.
Meanwhile, people who have been stopped for traffic violations get shot.
I guess it's progress, but it's quite surprising.

The responses to any tweet by pretty much any high profile politician are like this, however anodyne their content. It's not really worthy of comment or any particular attention (i.e. do not feed the trolls).
Twitter is full of idiots speaking their branes.

NYC v. other places in the U.S. If that was in the south he'd never have been caught alive.

Apparently his second bomb didn't go off since the bag it was in was stolen and the thieves 'accidentally' defused it.

Except when you can use it to take broad swipe at Corbyn supporters.

^Oh snap!

ouch.

I'm afraid @WillMelling's got you there. You could argue that random "idiots speaking their branes" is different to targeted abuse from members of your own party with a specific agenda. The trouble is you can't prove that anyone on Twitter isn't simply an idiot, and you can't prove they represent the views of any organisation (momentum, Labour etc).

• #42288
Ha ha. Very good Sir.
-
• #42289
I really don't think he does. I don't have to prove they represent the views of any organisation - Corbyn supporters = people who support Corbyn. Corbyn supporters calling Smith a c**t = idiots speaking their branes.
None of these things are mutually exclusive. What I was saying above is don't put too much store into people's brain farts on Twitter. Believe it or not I'm not that concerned by the less palatable (I never said it was all) Corbyn supporters tweet.
-
• #42290
Your post about Corbyn supporters would belie this.
-
• #42291
It really doesn't. Greenhell asked who was getting worked up about Smith, I answered with some evidence. It wasn't especially worthy of comment or attention, I was just answering a question.

don't bring me into this.

where's my money, bishes!?

How do places even have streets named after klan leaders? How on earth can that be acceptable?

Yeah. Sorry. No.
I know that you like your broad generalisations but this is just wrong.
No law enforcement agency is above reproach but the idea that NYC is squeaky clean because large + metropolitan = not racist (which works so well in London) is patently false.
Also southern = racist is equally lazy. Former NYPD police commissioner Lee P. Brown (NYPD's first commissioner from outside of the NYPD) served as a the first AA police chief in Houston, Texas & the first AA Public Safety Commissioner of Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to NYC in 1990.
