1: you already decided deep down.. this is the one you'll try to get if you find one that matches the budget.
2: google gruppo spa. cinelli and columbus is the same company. tubing of the mash work is cromor i belive.
3&4: blbs are not well regarded. overpriced random steel track frames. look around here and you'll find lots of frames with better pedigree.
my own thoughts: fuck colnago. not because i have something against it, but because it is overpriced too (in its own league). the brand has many fans and they had a few nice ideas regarding framebuilding but that's all (sorry @saarf i don't mean to flame, just my 2p < he'll correct me soon enough, just watch :)
get some nice 'modern' steel eg. donohue.
