It's just what this 'log in with your e-mail address' malarkey will do in the wrong hands. :)

Boom! Well done everyone... It was genuinely a difficult choice this week. Good entries.
This weeks theme is a style I've been obsessing over and struggling with for the past few years – #New_Topographics
It originates from contemporary American landscape photography in the 70's and its style is defined by photographers such as Stephen Shore, Robert Adams and Bernd and Hilla Becher amongst others.
It's quite a banal aesthetic, usually of every-day places or industrial areas (sometimes interiors) and often quite minimal.
I've put together some links and images to give you an idea of what I'm failing to describe.

Ooh, nice theme.

Ooh good theme. I need to get out and shoot more.

• #2362
Congrats to @Well_is_it

• #2363
Good topic. This might help for some context too?

I could shoot this kind of thing all day every day and never get bored or run out of material. Only problem is I'm no good at it.
What I'm saying is basically @Well_is_it should move to Tokyo.

There's enough material for this excellent topic in London. I've just spent the morning shooting around Hammersmith Ealing and chiswick. Now to decide which image to post from the 15 I took...

(perhaps we should each post ten pictures in line with the original topographics exhibition ;)

• #2367
I have no issue with people posting diptychs or triptychs if it seems appropriate...

• #2368
Would love to visit one day...

Might as well kick-off the entries...

Love that. Did you do any tweaking? And if yes, what did you do? would be interesting to know.

Cheers. Yeah, in Lightroom I just applied a portra 400VC preset, took the grain out, tweaked verical perspective slightly and played around with highlights, saturation contrast etc. Cropped to 6:7.
It was shot with a 35mm on a crop sensor, too. -

I didn't realise it was Tina until the link to a Ming Thein article. Like someone walking dog poo in to your house. Which I say with great affection, of course.
