Does the bike come with pedals
From the Wiggle Q&A:
-
• #78
Yes but they're not ones you'll want to actually use.
-
• #79
Why would you not want to use them?
-
• #80
They expect you to use your own pedals but legally have to include some in the sale, so they're the cheapest, shittest pedals possible.
-
• #81
They're essentially test ride use only.
Pedals are such a personal preference its hard to supply good pedals that everyone is going to like.

Got the last Demo 60cm version the other day, and you get a little multi tool, a couple of bells (!) and a 15mm spanner with the bike - also come with the cheap shitty flat pedals that will stay in the wrappings until I ever need them.
Nice ride but it's developed a slight click though under pedalling that i'll need to check out/submit a query with Wiggle for.

What pedals would be good for commuting? Should I buy pedals with a strap?

Have you used clipless before? Most start on a set of SPDs.

I dont know what clipless or spd is

NICE!
I've been toying with the idea of getting a nice set of carbon wheels for mien and keeping the Halos as beaters. This may very well have convinced me.

Thanks ! This set is for sale... ;)

Can this bike be used for commuting. I am little sceptical about the 23c tires.
-
• #94
I've been using mine for about 6 months now with no problems at all. There's clearance for 25s in there, but anything bigger than that might be pushing it.

• #95
okay, I think i am going to buy it

Should i buy the 58 cm size? I am 186 cm tall and 16 years old

Got mine today.. super cool bike absolutely love it.
First time riding a fixie, been a roadie for years... gonna take a bit of getting used to I think.
I'm 6ft and went for the 56 as that's what Wiggle recommended. Not a fan of the bars, feel very stretched out due to the long stem. Think I will be replacing it with a shorter one and possibly changing the bars if I don't get used to them.
Anyway here she is...

The bike is something like 2-3cm longer than your road bike as well, compare the Stack and Reach of your road bike to this and narrow down the correct length of stem to mimic the position (add a cm since you don't have a brake hood).

Did anyone get to the bottom of whether the fork was meant to be carbon or not?
Carbon fork, alu steerer, like it said on the website.
Owner must have thought alu steerer = all alu.

Just bought the bile, reality satisfied with it. The only gripe i have with it is that the stem feeds a bit long. Any suggestions to what size i should buy?
Does the bike come with pedals or do you have to buy them seperately?
