2013 Surosa Galicia touring bike. 54cm 631 steel frame (I've just picked-up a 56 steel frame, hence this sale, to fund the parts needed to get that on the road).
Second owner since new. Originally bought from Surosa Cycles in Oldham (which went bust in 2014).
Usually sports mudguards and a pannier rack - but it looks sexier without. It’s not light, but I rode it on Cav’s sportive last month and it wasn’t too difficult keeping up on the climbs. And on the other side of the coin, I heaved up 20 cols (including Ventoux) in May, fully loaded (at 22kg), and it was marvellous.
The frame and forks show all the chips and scraps that you’d expect from a bike that’s been flown, ferried, trained and just generally ridden everywhere, however all cosmetic: nothing remotely deep and not dents whatsoever. Accommodates 3 bottle bosses, front and rear rack mounts, and has clearance for 35mm tyres.
Looking for £360 (of which £15 is to be donated to the forum). I’ve used the sale of this Harry Hall tourer at £700 as a benchmark (https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/287850).
London based. If interested - please come for a ride round my estate. If you avoid being shot, you’ll enjoy it. (Doesn't come with bottle cages or pedals, but I’ll deputise with some to ride away on). Nearest tubes are Kilburn High Road Overground station and St. Johns Wood.
Further Details: Shimano RS11 front, RS21 9 speed rear. Deore triple Crankset and Rear Mech. Sora front Mech. Tiagra shifters. Deda stem and bars. Ratty pannier rack (but works valiantly),
I've only got a remotely relevant picture at the moment - but i'll sort out some decent one's this weekend.(Picture shows old wheels, old brakes, no mudguards, and terrible red bottle cages)
