Good choice!
I got the J version as well. There's no mechanical difference between them though, it's just a designation for the region it will be exported to – in this case, Asia.

@Technics100 Nice strap. I took the plunge last night and ordered a SKX007J, it took some searching but eventually found a new one. Will see how I get on with it size-wise and worst case trade it for the smaller 013 (although no J version available). Saw a few okay looking photos of the 007 on 6.5" wrists, so should be okay with my 7".
Been stalking this thread for sometime, so glad to have finally decided on and bought a nice mechanical watch without breaking the bank, which I thought was unavoidable with this lark.
