I've fallen back in love with my CAAD10 Disc.

After giving it some TLC and some tasty upgrades it's now better than ever.

New wheelset arrived yesterday, can't wait to get them on and give it some solid riding over winter

Praxis is good. @Scoot's bike has a Sram PressFit 30 to BSA Adaptor Kit and it's working fine. No creaks.

i have an r500, with slice forks, which are alu and carbon i think with the integrated headset.

i cant seem to find much info on it, apart from its 1 1/8, but the lower race is quite wide, hoping i can just buy a cdale lower race as a spare to try the new forks?

or is there something im missing?

I have a WheelsMFG bb30 to gxp adapter kicking around if you want to try that first. £15.

Anyone know if the conical spacer on a supersix still comes with another lower-stack bearing cover underneath? Am I gonna have to buy one? or am I talking complete shit?

Easier to buy a complete integrated headset - basically two bearings, compression ring and a crown race. You get spare bearings that way and they can be had for little money. I believe they are the campag hiddenset standard but do some digging before you commit.

cheers, i just went for it and the race came off the slice forks pretty easily so i can see what is going on. i did see some stuff online about the campag but I think mine was a bit before that as i can see no identifying marks on it at all!

anyway it has new forks now and is well on its way to frankenbike and possibly even anti!

This thing rides phenomenally well now its got some decent wheels, and HydroR is brilliant....
