The new pickups are ridiculously competent. I've not driven a ram, but even the bum basic Chevy and Fords from U Haul are super grunty. Especially the Ford. You can rent them for 20bucks an hour - most amusing.

Just spent the afternoon romping around on highways, country lanes, dirt roads and lake shores in Virginia in a Dodge Ram 3500.
I literally can't believe how big and thunderous these things are... Part of me wants one but then logic kicks in.
