A pleaseant weekend of football so far.

Rooney does seem totally washed up. Just another 3 years at £300k a week on his contract.

Mourinho looking like a manager whose time has gone, and is too arrogant to change.

The game has changed over the last 10 years; still opting for wingers playing as defenders is well dated. Siege mentality at big clubs like Manchester and Madrid cannot sustain over more than a year or two. The inability to hold one own hand up and admit error and instead throw staff under the buss shortens that avenue even more. The game itself has developed and jose has has not. Ibra and rooney up front, at best, will stretch underwear. That's about it.

Don't think you can be too critical of the tactics or selection, we've battered them and should have scored at least a couple. If its still goalless at the 60 minute mark then we should throw eriksen on.

Janssen's looking a little like soldado mk2 at the minute but if Kane's out for a few games it might be good for Janssen, he's too desperate to perform when plays at the minute, knowing he's going to get a guaranteed run of games will hopefully settle him down.

Obviously it's not great to have injuries but we've got a strong squad so should be able to to deal with it.

Better start to the season as well, in the mix without having played any of the heavyweights just yet.

Also to be fair it's a bit early to call janssen soldado mk2, he hasn't had half as much time to prove his worth, and if Kane is out for any length of time, hopefully he'll show his quality. He's looked useful in the brief time he's had on pitch just hasn't taken his chances..
