Posh girlfriend of mine had a chrome Toshiba personal stereo I swear used Timelord voodoo to render it smaller than the cassettes it played.

I had something like that in the second half of the 90s, an aluminium Panasonic I think, lightspeed rewind and it would recognise gaps between songs so you could skip automatically 1, 2 or 3 songs. Too bad as soon I got that everybody started to get a cd player.
