Armed with instructions for the QED P300, I now have confirmation that the system can be used for dual mono bi-amplification. A switch in the inside of the power amps has to be changed, resulting in "the left and right input are now shorted together and the P300 is ready for use in a dual mono bi-amp mode"
Then I get lost...
"For bi-amplification, connect the treble input of the right loudspeaker the the right channel speaker of the P300. Then connect the bass input of the right hand loudspeaker to the left channel output of the P300. Repeat the above for the left channel P300, this time using the left channel pre-out socket of the C300."
What?
To start with, and I googled it, what do they mean by treble and bass input of the loudspeaker, to me the + and- signs had nothing to do with this... Nothing suggesting these are the same things" the internet...
Can someone provide clarity please, I don't want to burn my speakers...
