    But how much faster would a you be in a group - let's assume that everyone in the group is the same level, and could knock out a 1 hour time. 5 minutes faster? More? Less?

    In other news, I can still barely make it from one roundabout to another before my back spasms and I have to sit up.

    I'm working through it with a physio at the moment - playing chase the pain as it migrates from calf, to piriformis & glute medius / minimus, to various facet joints around the thoracic spine - my list of stretches that I need to perform is getting longer and longer.

    It's annoying though, as it's the main restriction on my cycling at the moment (other than being old, unfit and fat).
