• I'm getting rid of my Raleigh stuff and this is first up: it's from around 1938. It's complete, with Sturmey Archer KB7 and BF8 hubs and drum brakes (rare, apparently) Raleigh patented chromium spokes; Raleigh spearpoint mudguards; Terry sprung saddle with plate intact;Sturmey Archer quadrant lever; original Miller dynamo lighting front and rear, which is connected and working. I believe it's a Raleigh Sports X Tourist model 37, but I can't swear to it. There is a number on the underside of the bottom bracket - 109089 - but I'm not certain that this is the official frame reference. There should be a number on the seatlug, but there's probably been some WWII over-painting, so if it's there, it can't be seen. The tyres hold air and the bicycle can be ridden. Anybody want this before it goes on ebay or is broken up? I'm looking for around £125.
