The quickest-drying shorts you can get. I've never bought into waterproofing my legs.
-
• #110078
Yeah, if it's warm enough to rain, go with shorts and pedal harder.

shorts.
merino boxers are meant to dry quickly -

My commuter has guards. May just invest in some decent shorts then

The Vulpines are nice, longer than they once were though.
-
• #110083
The pad on the Vulpines is far too bulky. Rapha one is much better, when available.
-
• #110084
Ah, my older ones have no pad at all, works fine for me.

I need to get a new cone for a Campagnolo Record Pista 1036 rear hub. I couldn't find any infos on the compatibility of cones across brands and over time (sheldon wasn't really helpful either). My question is basically: do i need to find a 1960s campa record pista cone or will any other cones do as well?
ed. this suggests that width may be an issue for track/road cones: http://thecycleclinic.co.uk/products/campagnolo-rh-pi107-record-pista-track-rear-hub-cone -

No no, you've got the perfect bike. Just not the perfect body, do something about that! ;)
Btw sounds your bike is setup too long, try pushing your saddle forward or a shorter stem :)

does anyone know of a 120mm spaced single speed disc hub? (does one even exist?)
-
• #110092
You just get a fixed/fixed hub and this: http://broakland.com/dixie.html

Novatec had one on their website until its revamp a few months ago.
Can't remember its part number, though, and hardly any images online. Will be very hard to find.
EDIT: BTW It was for screw-on freewheel/fixed sprocket. -

Those are 135mm spaced according to Surly:

Pretty sure they only do those in 135mm these days...

• #110098
Where do you even get a 120 disc frame anyway?
-
• #110099
True enough, didn't look at their site.
In which case, you gonna have to get spendy -

custom from mack maybe?
Right, expensive for what they are could define Cinelli's bike !
But with a 50% off staff deal, the price benefits sounds fair
