I expect mocking from @Howard is the only thing that'll be gentle about cyclocross this season.
To be fair I've entered mega dithering mode and have thus changed my mind; I'd rather have my lbs get the money for the build than superstar, so I'll likely opt for a DT rim as it's more affordable than stans' offerings. Probably R460db or x392.
Now I just need to page @amey to tell me whereabouts to pick up some novatec (or equivalent light-ish cheap-ish) 6 bolt disc hubs.

I have looked as well, if she really need the smallest bike possible, the new All-City Space Horse 650b have the shortest reach so far.
Not exactly CX, but can run knobby tyres.

Xs giant tcx SLR 2 might be worth trying as well, discounted at the moment as well and should be relatively easy to test ride.

Saga for my bike is over, I just ordered this: http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Cannondale-CaadX-Sora-2016-Cyclocross-Bike_79894.htm so cheap! I now it's only Sora but it's going to get broken probably so I didn't want a show pony.

Bargain. That's at least three of you in the Thundercats CX team now, @Cazakstan

Strong choice.
Also, that escalated quickly.
Also also hit me up for tyres, seem to have loads.
-
• #3911
Yes please, I need to swap tyres straight away, it comes with slicks!
-
• #3912
Got some Challenge Grifo clinchers, all black, briefly used, pretty good intermediate to mud tire.
-
• #3913
Sammy Slicks aren't that slick. They're just more slick than most CX tyres. They have knobles on the edges and seem decent for gravel/mud/short grass.
-
• #3914
I just bought a couple of these for slightly deeper mud/grass

Heh, yeah, fine when it's dry. Cross races are usually dry, right?
-
• #3916
How much dollar? PM me innit.
-
• #3917
I'm not saying all cross races are dry. I just meant that they don't have to just be binned straight away.
-
• #3918
Not binned, just kept for dry occasions.
-
• #3922
Am I right in thinking you can't get the XM tread on a tubeless?
-
• #3923
Hah that pretty much describes my 2015-16 season
-
• #3924
I has an orphan, yea, brand new. Will PM you.

All city does pretty small sizes for cross bike last time I checked.
Cool
