I can't edit/amend the poll. I just did a test vote for @mi7rennie (after seeing he still had none) and he now has two votes. Neither necessarily mine I suppose.

Thanks! I've just ridden ~150 miles of New Mexico desert to Santa Fe and was thinking about this a bit during the ride.
I don't take a lot of photos back home but the trip i'm on has inspired me to take more. Everything in America is bigger, better (in their minds at least) and bolder. It's hard to describe but words like Vast & Technicolour work for me.
Maybe it's the way the motorbike helmet is framing everything in super wide screen or that i've driven through places used to film classic and more modern westerns but this weeks theme is #Cinematic;
Something that feels like it belongs in a film or reminds you of a film you love. It would be great to know which film too...

Thank God General Lucifer doesn't take part.

Maybe i should have qualified; films that have received British Board of Film Classification certificates & not dodgy ones you find in plastic bags in bushes.

I agree, I really hope @General_Lucifer hasn't found this thread yet.

My pager just went off as I was lovingly recreating a scene from one of my favourite movies, Oral Octogenarians, in the hope my 'arty' photo will win.

^It's got cops, a rich guy, a convertible and bemused onlookers. Must be a movie that matches

Something French, 60s, about trains, cycling, age, death and sex.

Not exactly Jacque Tati slapstick, more evocative of more sombre nouvelle vague cinema
Not quite, it's a forestry trail and a rally car passing at around 80mph through a very fast section.
