I used to be shocked, when I first came to this forum, about how off topic and sour a thread can go, so quickly. Unfortunately it doesn't shock me any more. We have this debacle, the Tour of Britain thread has turned from a celebration of fine cycling/cyclists into a raging debate on who pays taxes where.
It's great to see a forum celebrating all facets of cycling culture turn into the rest of tinterweb. We all deserve a pat on the back.
Peace n love as always. Jon
Off-topic-ness (what's a topic?) is one of the forum's glories. Flame wars on here used to be subverted and funny 95% of the time. Subverted flame wars are fine. Boring flame wars are not.
