46 is tricky, I'll have a look but I'd reccomend Trek Crockett in 54cm has all the features a CX bike should have and is one of the cheapest to buy as frameset (£550 RRP) AND has hidden mudguard mounts.

I've read around the thread, I've UTFS but still I come here with questions!
Any ideas on small CX bikes OTP? My gf rides a 46cm road bike.. What are her options?
Also provisionally looking for me, I ride a 54cm usually but would be inclined to go smaller possibly for a CX bike. What is the cheapest decent disk-braked cx bike do you reckon?
