James., please, if you didn't intend the cross-reference, just say that you didn't intend it. That's perfectly sufficient. Unfortunately, repeated uses of the same phrase like that tend to come across as if they spring from the same origin, and I for one don't think it's worth prolonging an argument around that.
You may disagree, but at best you'll be ruining some good opportunities for bad jokes, as I was just going to tell BareNecessities to his avatar how he was confusing everyone by posting a picture of Julio riding a mountain bike that Jezston may have thought was of Laura Trott riding a mountain bike, and I was also going to tell Gustav that his syntax is highly suspect, but I didn't know that 'triggered' was a meme and so unpleasant, and even if you didn't intend the unpleasantness, it's just made this thread a little unpleasant just by association. I think I would have raised it with you directly, but for what it's worth I think deleting the comment, in the circumstances, is the right thing to do.
