Which is very nice, but I doubt it would fit into my £6k/year car allowance.

you wanted a manual 996, here you go
they've got a cheaper one in black too
£785/month (Sainsbury Bank at 6.8%), that's £9,420/year.
I'd like one, but not sufficiently to put myself into that situation.

I'm friends with Brent from CBR the guy that built the motor for that car.
My mate went to him and say oh "I'd like a nice 13b turbo set nothing to crazy." Then he has convinced him into building a full house 20b turbo pushing 800hp haha. He also had a very cool rx2 drag car

For future investment low volume and high performance are the two keys, and it has those, but I just don't like the look of it. The silver dial rims, the halfords 911 rear badge, the fussy bumper and sills. It's covered in questionable bolt-on trinkets rather than a genuinely special model.
I think I'm alone tho, people like it generally.
On that particular car 'fully stamped service book' sounds deliberately vague, so I'd want that checking. I'm also not convinced the wheels are the correct finish. It's tricky to tell from the pics but the originals would have had a chrome type look which is expensive to do when refurbing so people often jut get them done silver.

More and more I think I should get that blue 1998 from Dans motorcycles in Stone and drive it until the wheels fall off.

If you are going to drive it in to the ground, why not buy a catd damaged car and get it repaired and use that?
-
• #29797
cat d are more expensive than that!

Nope. For that you want something with forced induction and adaptive cruise.
