Anyone with the Shimano R685s finding the rubber hoods are really baggy? I've fitted and bled my front brake once, and my rear brake twice and am finding that the left (rear) rubber hood will no longer stay in place and shifts about as I ride. I've spent longer than I'd like to admit carefully pulling and tugging it into place, only for it to shift around as soon as I get out of the saddle or ride up a hill. Really frustrating. Is this a known thing, or am I just unlucky/stupid?

isnt this a known issue with the first batch? @TM had his hoods replaced by madison iirc. mine aren't so baggy but the lever's rattle slightly which is annoying

Don't know! I don't have any rattle, but the left hood is ridiculously baggy now. I emailed Mantel (got them from there on Black Friday last year) and they've asked for pics, so I'll see what they/Shimano have to say. I have just ordered another set of hoods, but I guess there's no way to know whether they're an old batch or new?
