Be funny when all these people with these new mad V PB's race local courses and get done by local course riders.

Cheers for the info.

70k+ miles on my Felt B12, all kinds of rough stuff, faithful steed.

That lazy Dowsett probably spent half the 10 sat on a beach in Spain somewhere complaining about immigrants ruining England...

As in the Hounslow fixe fest? There were a couple of riders from round here that expressed an interest at Fuct's fixed 10 a few weeks ago.

Yeah, not sure if I'll do it fixed as my disc tub has a slow puncture and the Cervelo is already in the loft. Was thinking road bike.

Pitstop.?

• #14292
Just make sure you get round quickly?

TBF I've ridden a 50 on it, should be ok. More looking for an excuse not to ride fixed, plus it's nice to do at least one geared TT a year.
-
• #14294
I'm sure there's something I'm not thinking of, but why couldn't you HC on your Cervelo?
-
• #14295
I'd look a bit silly and have no reason to keep my Vigorelli. Changing over things like cranks would be faff, and the HT is way too short.

I've seen your headbands...
Isn't the T3 about a pound lighter than the Vig?
-
• #14297
No idea, never weighed it just in case. I'd be surprised if it's that much though. Apparently the P3 classic is below 1300g so perhaps 300-350g?

There's a combined HC/10mi out west. I've seen people ride TT bikes in both events.

Our club hill climb goes up Longdown Hill nr P Risborough. It's got a gentle bit at the start and actually goes downhill at the end. We have it on the same day as a 2-up 10 so last time I did it I used my TT bike and don't think I was any slower.
Last couple of years I've managed to get out of it by volunteering to push off, though. -

I've raced Longdown and Windsor a few times. It was probably Andy from your club on the TT bike thinking about it.
Aha, has he been known as a tester? I had him down as a road racer mainly.
