Did you use EasyFit? It does exactly what it says on the tin. With lube, it shouldn't need overpressure to get everything up onto the shelf, but a bit of extra pressure during mounting won't do any harm. I think the standard blow-off test is twice the maximum rating printed on the side wall, but if you get anywhere near that before the tyre seats properly you should be looking for where the real problem is.

Help, I've just mounted my s-ones on new pacenti rims and they're not sitting nice and round. There's a section on both where the tyre seems to be sitting lower? Have I made a basic error?!
