So how does the timing chain run on this? From the small ring position on the pilots cranks to the small ring position on the stokers cranks?

Yes, same as mine. Might have to shim the inner ring a bit to get the chains to pass one another.

not much by way of stoker bar adjustability...

Keep December the 17th in your diary, FCCC Christmas 10. Tandem showdown.

Currently the 58 rubs on the chainstay so we're going to have to space that out to start with!

The big ring on the front is just there for looks, we'll have a pair of 40t or 38t most likely.

We think they're a bit wide - plan is to chop off the very ends and have a custom 3D printed pod or butchered USE Tula pod on either side instead, a bit narrower

Given that I reckon it'll be ~1min faster than me on my own we could get an elusive Bentley Xmas 19, lol

We've gone for Maguras to give hydraulic braking without needing to worry about disc brake wheels (like that new Zipp monstrosity). The bars have holes for arm rests (basically cut up Cinelli Angels) and we can use them for the top tube hold position for the stoker (it's very fast).

Get 40 in preference over 38, no careful clocking required.

Are those Pistas on a tandem!! We're too scared to even put Cronos on in case one goes bang, currently Podium TT 19mm front and VF Carbon 22mm rear.
