Ordered a rack over 2 weeks ago now. Chased and was promised it for last Friday. Chased again, no response all week. Ugh.

Very annoying as they have good stuff, but something is clearly awry with them at the moment.

Yeah, really hate boshing small companies, but this is going to really dick me over for a trip! Things go wrong all the time - it's no biggy, you just have to communicate when they do.

Looks like I'm about to have similar issues...
Only just over a week and a half waiting, but no reply to a three very polite emails. Googling brought me to this thread, and was very surprised, past service was always exemplary. Feel bad to and don't want to do it, but tempted to file a Paypal complaint straight away rather than wait another week, or two, or three just for an email. Shame, always been good guys. Especially the original brother that ran Freshtripe.
Did you guys ever get your parts? How was it all resolved.

And another one here - 10 days since it was supposedly posted by courier. Two polite emails and no reply. Also will be thinking about contacting Paypal, but also Velo Orange direct - they may be able to apply some pressure.
Has anyone got their parts?

I got mine...
I put in a Paypal Dispute after about 10 days. Heard nothing. So escalated it to a Paypal Claim after two weeks. That seemed to jolt things. Received a brief message a day later responding to my very first email, he apologised and said handlebars had been posted. As promised they turned up.
Not a very acceptable length to have to go to to get a response, and not an acceptable delay, but I was just pleased to get them and not have to wait ages for a Paypal Claim.
Contacting VO might be a good idea, but might be extreme. Would be striking at someones livelihood, so I'd want to be sure there isn't an ongoing reason their service is very poor at the moment. It does seem like it's a number of people having a bad experience though. Hard to know what's a fair approach. Even harder if there's no communication. I'm wondering if he's swamped prioritising the distribution side of VO or something? Are they still a one-man business? I've no idea, just wondering what's caused a great small business with previously excellent customer service to let it slide. For sure, customers seem to be neglected, if it goes on I imagine it that will create enough problems.

Anyone know what the fuck is going on with Freshtripe right now?
I've been looking at buying some VO guards off them and had noted the price to be £45.
I went on their site using my phone while I was at work and it was all different. The url was the same as always but the site was totally different and even had a different name displayed alongside the Freshtripe logo.
There was a 'blog' or 'news' post about the new site and name so I thought fair enough.
The guards were listed at £50 but I thought a 5er wasn't too much of a difference so I was going to buy them but the shipping was £9 so I didn't complete the order.
Now when I go on the site using either my phone or my desktop it's back to how it normally looks, the price for the guards is back to £45 and shipping is down to £6.75.
I tried looking up one of the pages from the history on my phone and I get 404 errors.
It's all very suspicious but god knows where else I'm going to get these VO guards from.

Aye, found that and have ordered. Cheers!
I'm really surprised to hear this. Jamie has always been amazing when I was ordering stuff. Even when I destroyed a mud guard and could only get a replacement from the States - they sent it to him and he sent it to me for no charge. Always been a gent.
