Very sad to hear that the wonderful Fred Hellerman, the last of The Weavers, died on Thursday.
Pete Seeger died two years ago and Ronnie Gilbert last year. Lee Hays died in 1981.

I always thought his earlier plays were just pants, although I've only read them and have never seen them performed. I also thought 'Three Tall Women', which I did see, while more interesting, was no great shakes.
He doesn't seem to have had the happiest of lives.
