FREE - Lovely old Allin abandoned on Clarks Lane

Just been out in the lanes and saw this lying abandoned by a tree:

It's on Clarks Lane (B2024), at the top of the hill near Chestnut Ave:

It's rusty but still looks straight / uncrashed, wonderful fillet brazing, an old Brooks, GB (arrow) stem and bars, Campag rear mech / shifter, Weinmann brakes / rear rim, and probably Williams cranks. No front wheel.

Way too good to just sit there rotting, so if you're out that way and like vintage steel - go and pick it up and make it nice again!

Quite near to Beaver Water World is Titsey Place.
Take the chance to have a whole innuendo-themed day out.

And get a free bike!

Looks like I could be on the hunt if it's still there on Friday...

Hope this gets reclaimed before a passing rag and bone man picks it up and consigns it to the heap.

We used to have one come past the house regularly. At one point my housemate came out the front door to find two of them about to walk off with a metal garden bench, because they didn't think we wanted it. A garden bench. In the front garden.

Although, Beaver Water World would more than make up for it I'm sure.

Long gone. Lots of riders passing so I expect somebody local spotted it and reclaimed it. Think I was in the right place. Lots of dumped tyres.
