Avoid the Forerunner 305/405 models (which can be had for cheap on eBay). The touch bezel is the worst UI I've ever had the misfortune to use and will drive you utterly mad (especially if used in the rain).
The older the model you get the chunkier a profile it will have. The various old reviews on DCRainmaker's blog are jam packed with info. Here's the one for the 110:-
