  • My experience with a sony xperia z3 compact after two years of ownership is don't bother..

Loads of bloatware, crashes more now than it did. Waterproof feature no good when a side flap fell off after careful use.

I was looking at the Huawei P9 as a potential new phone, the Leica dual lens camera looks lovely but all reviews seem to say that the hardware degredation is noticeable after only 3 months of use and the battery life is poor.

I am resigning myself to the fact that there is no bloody phone out there I like! Ffs.

    Most of which uninstalls.

Too many porn apps will do that.

I use the magnetic charge "port" so you don't need to open the flaps. Also, it proved to be more waterproof than my Garmin Edge 1000.

I like the smaller screen of the Z3, it's faster than the N5 and it has a better camera.

Not all of us have a raging midget porn addiction you know..

Old post, but it was the page the forum opened on...

Are you still using the Z3 compact and magnetic charger? Does it work ok? I've tried using a magnetic doc on mine and it worked fine for the first few months, but now it charges normally up to about 80% before it gets stuck and begins flashing back and forth between charging and not charging. It's annoying and means I have to use the little door which is now beginning to fail.

A quick google seems to suggest it's a known hardware problem in the phone and since it's long out of warranty there isn't much I can do about it. Unless someone knows of a fix?
