Yep, PIA drains a fair bit of battery. I only use it when connected to 3rd party wifi.

Ringke case arrived for my N5x, it's nice... Battery life is better than my old N5 but not loads better... I think it may be the PIA VPN that's draining lots of background power, will need to do a bit of investigating...
Do not drop the 5x. It doesn't do well. My 5 would weather it well. The 5x dents and scuffs very easily. I also broke the screen. But it replaced very easily. 30 minutes with a butter knife.
