Commute is now 25% longer and more hazardous. Kids are back at school, so cars parking all the way along the road I need to take (and kids all on the shared use path).

Did you see the smiles on the faces of the parents though. Never seen a happier bunch as they finally drop their sprogs off for someone else to deal with after a month and half of pure hell.

Nope, they were too busy accelerating in my lane, past the parked cars in theirs, to get as far away as possible
